Several residents of Valderrama, Antique were evacuated on Friday as huge cracks cut through 85 houses and roads in the area.
According to Mark Salazar’s report on “State of the Nation,” a barangay official said that he felt a small tremor before the cracks appeared.
The cracks were said to be small when they were first noticed on Thursday. However, they have grown to up to 1 meter in length.
Authorities said aftershocks may have caused the cracks.
